Ive enjoyed playing with the new update. Hadnt played in a while, and once this update came out, decided to try it out. Its pretty fun! And the tournament adds a fun challenge. I wont deny that I find it hard, though.

For the tournament after the first three people it is very unfair. All your opponents get more fruit and their fruits are also closer together. They also get more times were only red fruit get thrown in the air. They get combos even though they are not supposed to. They know exactly how to do it and when to do it. It is way to hard and I will not keep playing unless you make it fair.

If u got time and skill u can buy this game. If not pass it. I played to lv 13 and I find that I can never beat this game even though I spend 5 dollars I am deleting this game now. Dont buy if u havent got this game before, and dont download because u need space for other games.

I cant even express how happy I am with this new update! Honestly you guys and girls at half brick studios have really outdone yourselves! The new blade is just JAW DROPPING! (I call it the jesus blade (for those not christian... 5th anniversary blade is good too)) but really wow! For those players (one being myself) who have played this game since the INITIAL release date this NEW anniversary blade is just FANTASTIC I couldnt have asked for a bigger way to celebrate your 5th anniversary, very impressed! (Now the nerdy details) I say this blade is amazing because since generation 1 blades have just been used for style and preference, no real game changing effects. But this blade.... O...M...G!! Its golden graphics slashing through your screen ENGRAVING the fruits in a golden coating ALLOWING you to slice them ONCE MORE for a whole new set of combos RIDICULOUS!!! JUST AMAZING!!! Like imagine this slicing a 3 fruit combo, engraving the 3 fruit combo then 3 more fruits pop up, you slice those in combination with the three already engraved... BOOM 6 fruit combo! Now try mixing this when frenzy fruits come along or double point bananas or even freeze! TALK ABOUT OP!! Really... I love this change and even though RinJin was pretty difficult to beat, it was well worth it! Like if anyone could get this blade then meh, whats the real point? But having this level of difficulty really proves whether you deserve to wield this heavenly blade or not! Thanks a lot halfbrick and keep up the great work! :D

Tournament is difficult and sometimes frustrating but the pay off is well worth it and the rest of the original content is great.

In the new tournament game mode the ai blatantly cheats to win by giving itself easier combos, more fruit, and in some cases even steals the neutral fruit right after you already cut it, not impressed at all by how terribly implemented the ai is, please fix it because in this state it really just looks like your trying to sell those IAPs for golden apples.

I usually dont review games but this really ticked me off. The 5 year anniversary challenges and opponents are way too hard and the points system is unfair. Please change the difficult or you wont be having a 10 year anniversary anymore....

This is a really fun game and the tournament is fun but Han is hard to beat. Its not too hard to beat the tournament. I beat the tournament on two platforms. The blade was a bit of a disappointment though. Also the starfruit when sliced doesnt mean a lot of starfruit

Please, Im trying to win on my phone only to realize that the battle against Rinjin is slightly unfair, he gets all the easy combos and the game purposely mixes your fruit with his so he gets the points, I was able to beat him on my tablet, but make him fair, or I will rate this 0 stars!

This game is awesome! However, my ipod touch is a 3rd generation and thus cannot play the game (ios 5.1.1). Can you please enable this app so that I can download the latest compatible version on my device? Thank you for your time.

I highly recommend you turn the volume off while playing the tournaments. Much more easy to focus and avoiding the ninja taunts after losing. Definitely worth beating, dont give up! The Golden blade is OP seriously. :D So shiny :)

Fun game, but I have to remove it. The advertisements disrupt gameplay, very annoyed. Slipping the ads into paid apps, more annoying than television commercials.

app freezes and shuts off before I can even play. has been this way for a long time.

This update is good but since they removed the starfruit currency i can no longer unlock or use the blades i didnt have a chance to unlock with starfruit. Please make a way for us to actually use those blades.

I have enjoyed this game for years, and when they released a massive expansion including ninja duels and a bunch of new types of matches, I got really excited. Then, they not only took away the expansion and all of its game modes, they took away the in-game currency, starfruit. I LIKED starfruit! It allowed me to buy my favourite power-ups and ignore the one I didnt like ( Im looking at you, bomb deflects). It was better than the usual currencies in games like this because you could actually earn it fast enough in-game to not have to buy any for the game to be fun. Now, to get power-ups, I have to do challenges, and I have no choice as to which power-ups I get when I finish them. They also took away the ability to buy blades, and the only way to get the fun ones is to grind all the way to max level. I still love this game, but why, Halfbrick?WHYYYYY???

I used to play this game before starfruit, it was really fun. You would get a specific amount of points or win x amount of arcade matches to unlock blades and backgrounds. They added starfruit, it was optional for blades and backgrounds (you could still unlock them) and now you could buy power ups. This was perfect. Then, they completely removed the whole unlocking feature and made it so that you had to buy the blades and backgrounds. Now they have removed starfruit but to get blades and backgrounds you must level up. Please bring back the senseis swag.

I have had to redo level 42 so many times and every time i level up it just goes back to the beginning of level 42 and all that progress is erased. So annoying
