Seriously, this used to be a really fun app but now its a shameless money grab. "Heres our big Ghostbusters update!!!...*cough cough* but its $5 *cough cough*."

Yet another update that those that have purchased the game still have to buy the new blades and dojos. Way to try to milk every cent out if the users Halfbrick.

This game used to be so good, pay a few dollars for one of the best apps on the App Store. Now? Its a piece of trash app that has no dignity anymore. This version became what seems like 2.0 with cash grab, but no, they ruined it. They ruined it hard. The worst part? The fact they kept game breaking micro transactions? The blades are near impossible to get and are now power ups instead of just a cool blade? No, I think the worst part is the fact that they left the PAID version for the FREE version, thats right. They are going to deny the train wreck they have made out of the paid version, and ruined the last bit of dignity it had left. The free version had no transactions and was basically the 1.0 game. Now its a cash grab trash fest. They also decided not to have events on paid anymore, you have to pay for them now. DO NOT BUY THIS APP OR THE FREE VERSION!

Please, please, pleeeeeeease Halfbrick. I really want to compete against other players from online (Which was like back in iOS 5 or 6). It was so much fun and it really helps you polish up your skills in racking up combos and missing bombs. When online play used to be around, you had to slice the blue fruit and avoid the red fruit (At times, white fruit flies in and you have to slice it for 3 points before your opponent does). And at other times, both blue and red fruit come up at the same time and you absolutely must not mess up when combos came flying up. I really want that mode to return because Im telling you, it was so much fun competing against real life players online. Please do it, Halfbrick. Other than that, this game is beast.

When the new update for ghostbusters came out I was excited to use the new dojo and blade then saw that you have to pay money for it. $10 just to buy the dojo and the blade together or $5 individually what a rip off

Hmm. Before I go into my current review of the game, let me go over how the game has progressed over the years. First off: game is created, its a sensation. Slice fruit with your fingers to earn points? Do wacky challenges to unlock cool new blades and awesome backgrounds? Play throughout multiple different modes? Awesome! After you finish unlocking everything, you still have fun on the game as a time-consumer. It was definitely fun. Then the update came. Hoo boy. Hey, whats that fruit? Yknow, the glowing piece of fruit shaped like a star? Lets slice that and check it out. What? Star fruit earned?... Whats that mean? And why are all of my blades gone? And all of my achievements?! What?! Next update: please gimme back my stuff... When it arrives: Now, lemme check my blades and see what happOOOOOHHHHNOOOOOWHERESMYSTUFFNOTAGAIN ETC. Leveling up. Each blade and background is unlocked... Throughout level up. Why? WHY? And each blade has a different ability? Why? I liked it when they all worked the same way... What if I want to have a shadow blade act like the ability on a cloud kicker blade? What then? Heres my current review: I picked this game up two years after a horrible update and six years after the original release. I have to say, playing this again isnt as bad as I thought. Sure, Im kinda MAD that every single blade I worked hard for is now in the trash and I have to reset, but no biggie. My problems are these: 1. Power-Ups: Cool idea, except... You get these by doing challenges. In the free version, you get STAR FRUIT (a feature NO LONGER IN THIS GAME) AND level-up stuff. I think they reversed what should be happening here. 2. Free Version VS Full Version: Tournament mode, where you unlock limited-time blades? Only Free Version. How to get them on full version? Buy them for an extra $4.99 per blade. Yup. Minigames? On the free version. Quicker level-up features? STILL FREE VERSION. I like that you guys put everything cool on the free version and all... Its just that... PEOPLE PAID MONEY FOR THE FULL GAME AND THEY GET WHAT SHOULD BE THE FREE VERSION INSTEAD. WHY? WHHHYYYY?! 3. Star Fruit... And Lack of: Sooo... If people bought star fruit with the in-app purchase thing BEFORE you guys updated (again) and you updated without compensating them, then you can see how people would be mad. Just, whatever you do, dont screw up with another update and then wipe the slate clean again... Its not fun for the rest of us.

Dont update for the Ghostbusters stuff. You have to pay $4.99 each for them which, of course, they never mentioned in the description for the update. Its just all about making more money now with this app and I wish I hadnt updated. Used to be a great game but, no more. Sadly, the free version is much better.

Over the years the design decisions have worn the game down. Its gone from a fun little time consumer to an over-milked, micro-transaction cash cow. And just a personal disagreement, who would ever support the new ghost busters movie?

Really love game but two bugs.1, soap blade still levels fruit juice on dojo wall and 2. No more gravitational anomalies. Please fix this cause I loved the comet blade. P.s people who think the blades are just power ups are dumb. Their actually power ups and cool blades.

Look, I know you need to make money, but this isnt the right way... Make the game like $3 or something, but dont do this. Please go back to how it originally was, without levels, without power ups, without xp... Please, bring back the good Fruit Ninja, the ORIGINAL Fruit Ninja.

I used to love fruit ninja, with the simple gameplay and great graphics I got addicted quickly. Then came in star fruit, where all of your blades started to cost this fruit currency that was hard to obtain. And now they remove ALL OF THAT AGAIN, and this is where the levels randomly appear. I personally think these are better than star fruit, but its almost impossible to level up. So please bring back the original fruit ninja that we remember!

I re-downloaded the app for my new iPhone and I was instantly unimpressed with the changes. Its not what I originally paid for and if I knew it would come to this, I would have kept my money. The app even tells you to get the free version if you miss the old app...

All of my progress was lost! Now I dont even want to play any more because theres no point if Im just trying to get back to where I was!

So im able to download the app and i have the correct ios to run the game,but everytime i open the app it almost immediatly crashes and is un-playable so please fix your app

The latest update reset all my progress (from level 17 to level 1) and removed all my power-ups (I had 120+ of each, and they all reset to 0). This isnt the first time Halfbrick has done this, either: *All* my Halfbrick games progress was wiped out a few months back during a major update push. If I cant keep my progress from update to update, no point in playing the games anymore.

Wow they really need to make this like fruit ninja free dont buy this it gets boring. Fruit ninja free is so much funner. I love Ghostbusters thats why I got this but I should of bin playing fruit ninja free.

Ok I have one main problem with the game. And Its kind of big. I recently transferred from my old phone to this one. AND ALL OF MY PROGRESS GOT DELETED!!!!! I JUST GOT THE KING DRAGON DOJO AND I LOST EVERYTHING!!!!!! So thats my main problem.

Bring back online play!

Back in 2012 this game was amazing, didnt have to pay as much, no power ups, easier to slice and it was amazing. Now you update it, removing everything fun now it just makes the creators seem so.. Greedy. Its ridiculous! "Restore purchases" doesnt even work too, it just says "Success" and I went to go check my blades.. NOTHING!
